✨UPSSSC PET Syllabus (2024)

The UPSSSC PET 2024 syllabus for Group C posts is now available. The Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) is a multiple-choice offline qualifier exam based on the NCERT syllabus for classes 10th and 12th. It will cover 15 different subject topics, including Indian History, Indian National Movement, Geography, Indian Economy, Indian Constitution & Public Administration, General Science, General Hindi, Elementary Arithmetic, Logic & Reasoning, and Current Affairs. Candidates will have 2 hours to answer 100 questions, each of which is worth 1 mark. There is a 1/4 mark penalty for each incorrect answer, but no marks are deducted for unanswered questions. The PET exam will be held in districts across Uttar Pradesh.

UP PET Syllabus for Group C

There are 15 subjects included in the Group C UP PET Exam Syllabus. Of these subjects, five are worth a total of 10 marks, while the remaining 10 subjects are worth a maximum of 50 marks, or 5 marks each. The UP Group C Syllabus features negative marking, with 1/4 of a mark deducted for each incorrectly attempted question. No marks will be deducted for questions left unanswered. Each correctly answered question will receive one point. Candidates have a total of 120 minutes to complete the PET exam, with no extra time provided under any circumstances. The qualifying marks for general, OBC, SC, and ST candidates will be released by category soon.
