The Tata Steel Aspiring Engineers Program 2024 offers Engineer Trainee positions across various fields, including Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, and Geo-Informatics. This program spans one year, with the opportunity for successful trainees to secure full-time employment as Assistant Managers (IL6).

Eligibility requirements vary slightly depending on the applicant. General candidates must be in the final year or have completed a B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg.) in relevant fields or M.Tech/M.Sc. in Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, or Geo-Informatics, with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 65% marks.

For female candidates, eligibility includes being in the final year or having completed B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg.) in Mining or Mineral, or M.Tech/M.Sc. in Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, or Geo-Informatics, with a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 60% marks. 

Additionally, candidates who joined the 2nd year of engineering after completing a three-year diploma and are in the final year (Batch of 2024) are also eligible. All candidates must have passed their qualifying exams no earlier than March 2020 and must have attended a full-time AICTE/UGC-approved campus program. Preference will be given to those who are Jharkhand and Odisha's domiciles.

Participants in the program will receive a monthly stipend of ₹30,000, along with medical coverage of ₹2,50,000 for hospitalization and ₹6,000 for OPD annually. After completing the training, successful candidates will be offered a salary CTC of ₹7 lakhs per annum as Assistant Managers.

The selection process consists of an online test, a behavioral assessment, and an interview, which may be conducted in person or virtually.
