Eligibility Criteria

Nationality
A candidate must be a citizen of India or anyone from the following:

1. Subject to Nepal
2. Subject to Bhutan
3. Refugee came to India before 1st January 1962 to become a permanent resident.
4. A person migrated from Burma, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, and Vietnam to become a permanent resident of India.

Educational Qualification

Junior Engineer (Civil), CPWD-B.E, B.TECH, Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or Institute.

Junior Engineer (Electrical), CPWD-B.E, B.TECH, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or Institute.

Junior Engineer (Civil), CPWD-B.E, B.TECH, 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or Institute.

Junior Engineer (Electrical), CPWD-B.E, B.TECH, 3 Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or Institute.

Junior Engineer (Civil), MES-B.E/B.TECH in Civil Engineering OR 3 Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute and 2 years of working experience in related Civil Engineering areas.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical), MES-B.E/B.TECH in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university OR three Years Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical and 2 years of work experience in related area.

Junior Engineer(QS&C),MES-B.E/B.TECH 3 years diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or Insitute OR passed the Intermediate exam in building and Quantify Surveying (Subdivision -2) from the Institute of Surveyors(India).

Junior Engineer(Civil and Mechanical), Central Water Commission B.E/B.TECH/ Diploma In Civil/Mechanical Engineering.

Age Limit

1. For the post of Junior Engineer(Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical), Central Water Commission and CPWD, the candidate's age exceeds 32 years.

2.For the post of Junior Engineer(Civil and Mechanical), Department of Post and Junior Engineer(Surveying and Contract), MES candidate's age should be between 18 to 27 years.

3.For the post of Junior Engineer(Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical), MES candidate's age should not exceed than 30 years.

Note: Age relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories will be provided as per government rules.

The Application fee of Rs. 100/- has to be paid either online or offline mode(application fee for women, an ex-service man, and other categories are exempted).

SSC JE Process To Fill Application Form 2017

Candidates can apply through online from their official website www.ssconline.nic.in or www.ssconline2.gov.in. They have to fill required field and upload neat scanning photographs and signature.

The scanned photograph must be of 8 bit and in jpg format. The size of the photograph must be 4 kb to 8 kb and resolution should be 100/120 pixels. The scanned signature length does not exceed 8 bits and should be in jpg format. The size of the scanned signature should lie between 1 kb to 12 kb and resolution might be 140/60 pixels.

Then after they have to go for payment option either online or offline i.e. (e-challan) and proceed to collect their receipt for validation.
