Swayam:--President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has launched an online portal named Swayam for high-quality education for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This portal is developed by Microsoft largest company. This portal provides 400+ online courses available in video formats, pdf etc to make them convenient for the students. Thus President launched three digital programs for e-learning Swayam, Swayam Prabha and National Academy Repository.
Now it is possible to take courses of top IIT's and IIM's without actually studying there after allotment of admissions.
President of India Announced Swayam and Swayam Prabha As Digital India Initiative
Swayam Prabha:--Also Pranab Mukherjee announced Swayam Prabha portal for guiding and helping people about education through DTH service. This DTH service is available with 32+ channels using GSAT-15 satellite. Amongst all of the channels, there will be an IIT-PAL channel which will guide and help by IIT faculty to the candidate who wishes to perform their IIT exam
This will be available for each person for maintaining uniformity and quality of education. The DTH channel will telecast a 4 hours regular and fresh education content 6 times a day.
