After the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, the salary details for IB JIO (Intelligence Bureau Junior Intelligence Officer) are as follows: The Pay Level for this position is 04, and it falls under the Pay Band PB-1 (5200-20200) with a Grade Pay of 2400. The Pay Scale ranges from Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/-. The Basic Salary is Rs. 25,500/-, and the maximum salary that can be attained is Rs. 81,100/-. Additional components of the salary include the Dearness Allowance (DA) of Rs. 9,690/-, which is 38% of the Basic Pay, and the House Rent Allowance (HRA) of Rs. 6,885/-, which amounts to 27% of the Basic Pay. The Transport Allowance (TA) and Other Work Allowance are determined based on applicable rules. Employees also contribute Rs. 3,060/- to the Provident Fund (PF) and Rs. 3,519/- to the National Pension Scheme (NPS). The tax deductions are in accordance with the new rules introduced in 2023.
