The Required for Admission:-  

1. Admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is made on the basis of a selection test designed and conducted by CBSE.
2.   Only candidates from the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened are eligible to apply for admission. However, in the district where the JNV is opened and is bifurcated at a later date, the old boundaries of the district are considered for the purpose of eligibility for admission in the JNV. This applies to cases where the new Vidyalaya has not yet been started in the newly bifurcated district.
   
3. 75% of seats will be filled by students from rural areas in 1 district and the remaining seats will be filled from the urban areas of the district.
4. There is a provision of reservation by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for SC-ST students but not below the national average.
5. The age of the interested candidates to take admission should be between 9 to 13 years which is applicable to all categories of candidates.

Some Required Documents for Admission:-

• Duly filled registration form.
• Previous school report card and mark certificate.
• Recent passport size photo.
• Passport size photo of the child with parents recently.
• Parent's residence certificate or Aadhaar card.
• Aadhaar card of child {if possible}.

Note:-  All original documents must be submitted for verification at the time of admission.
