Admission Details for Class VI to XII.

The Required for Admission:-
- Students desirous of getting admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will register only in the district in which Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened.
- Admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is based on written test and interview. The candidate who is successful in examination and interview is allowed to take admission.
- The candidate who has succeeded in the examination is admitted to the government-supported or other recognized school or B Certificate candidate of the National Institute of Open Schooling in the district in which he wants to take admission.
- 1 At least 75% of seats in the district will be filled by candidates from rural areas and the remaining seats will be filled from urban areas of the district.
- 3% seats are reserved by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for students with disabilities quota.
- For admission in class IX, students who have passed class 8 from a recognized school in the district in which JNV is working.

The Required for Admission:-
- Students seeking admission in class 11 must be within the age range of 14 to 18 years from the beginning of the academic year to July 1.
- The candidate should have passed class X by a school affiliated with a recognized school CBSC or any other state board of education in that district.
- Keep in mind that admissions are always given according to the marks obtained in class X and according to the seats available in JNV keeping in mind the merit of the candidate.
- The candidate should have proper qualifications in English and Hindi.
